Jnck cookies

Jnck Bakery is launching its range of cookies, which have 90% less sugar and 50% less saturated fat compared to existing products. Available in four flavours, including milky chocolate and white gold chocolate, the 48g cookies are suited for foodservice. The cookies can be supplied loose in pre-baked or unbaked cases of 24, or pre-baked in single and multipacks.

Panesco pastries

Panesco has launched a range of pastries for the foodservice industry. The Danish swirls are available in chocolate, cinnamon and forest fruit flavours, and the diamond pastries are in four flavours, including apple cinnamon and orange chocolate.

The pastries can be cooked from the freezer in three to four minutes.

Just Desserts Yorkshire milk cake traybakes

Just Desserts Yorkshire has introduced two new milk cake traybakes to its range: a Lotus Milk Cake and a Rose and Pistachio Milk Cake. Both cakes have been handcrafted using the traditional method of soaking milk into the sponge base before adding the topping and decoration.

Middleton Foods gluten-free mousse

Middleton Foods has launched its new gluten-free mousse. The soft-set, vegetarian dessert is available in three flavours – strawberry, chocolate and banana. Add milk or water, whisk and refrigerate before serving or use it to create other desserts.

New drinks for May 2023

Lanique cocktail cans

Spirit brand Lanique has launched two new cocktails in cans: Lanique Rose Fizz (250ml, 6% ABV) and Lanique Rose Spritz (250ml, 5.5% ABV). The rose and cherry-scented cocktails can be served as they are or mixed with Champagne, Prosecco or tonic.

Spirit of Japan cocktails

Wasabi Company and English Spirit Distillery have teamed up to create the Spirit of Japan range, comprising Sansho Spiced Rum (42% ABV), Shiso Gin (40% ABV), Wasabi Vodka (40% ABV) and Yuzucello (22% ABV).

Sapling Wonky Fruit range

Sapling Spirits has launched its new Wonky Fruit range with a Raspberry and Hibiscus Vodka. The brand uses rejected raspberries that have been bumped, crushed, squashed or broken but are just as useable as their ‘perfect' counterparts and combines them with hibiscus.

The Real Drinks Co sparkling rosé alternative

The Real Drinks Co has added a new permanent release to its portfolio, Peony Blush. This naturally fermented sparkling tea uses white peony tea leaves to produce an alcohol-free alternative to sparkling rosé.

Maiden Mill low-alcohol cider

Using traditional cider pressing methods in the heart of Somerset, Maiden Mill has recreated the flavour of full-strength ciders in two 0.5% ABV options. Maiden Mill Voyage is a golden medium cider with sweet green apple notes, while Maiden Mill Flyer is a crisp and cloudy medium dry cider with a smooth, sweet taste.

Monin jabuticaba syrup

Monin is launching Le Fruit de Monin Jabuticaba. The purple-blue berry from the southeast of Brazil has woody notes and a flavour similar to grape.

Paddy & Scott coffee pods

The new range of coffee pods from Paddy & Scott's aims to reduce waste and offer a more environmentally friendly way to serve coffee. The pods are Nespresso-compatible and fully compostable. The pods are also part of Paddy & Scott's Lunch Box programme, where sales go towards funding free school meals in coffee-growing communities.

Waterford Cuvée Argot

Launching this month, Waterford Cuvée Argot is a new and permanent addition to the Waterford Distillery's range. Distributed by Speciality Brands, this new whisky brings together several of the brand's Single Farm Origins with a hint of Irish peat.

Hoshizaki crescent ice machines

Hoshizaki has announced the launch of its new KM 40/60/80 range of crescent ice machines, designed for commercial kitchens, bars, and restaurants of all sizes. Crescent ice is suited to the ‘splash-free' serving of post-mix soft drinks, as well as being ideal for chilling bottles of wine and Champagne in ice buckets at the table.

Eddie Edible Ink Printer

The Eddie Edible Ink Printer allows operators to print onto food such as biscuits, doughnuts, marshmallows and macarons.
