The Mad Butcher dry-cured meat snacks

European charcuterie producer Sigma has launched the Mad Butcher, a range of dry-cured meat snacks ranging from salami bites to pork sticks that can be eaten on the go or as a premium snack with a drink in a pub.

Henley Bridge chocolate drops

Ingredients supplier Henley Bridge has unveiled a range of chocolate drops from Chocolat Madagascar for bakers, pastry chefs and chocolatiers. The Chef de Cuisine selection comprises six of the brand's popular chocolates, including 100% and 70% fine dark chocolate, as well as milk, white and vegan varieties.

Black Honey Bee's Honey + Pollen

British honey company Black Honey Bee has added Honey + Pollen to its range, a soft-set spring honey with added British pollen. Available in large tubs or small jars for in-room amenities or afternoon tea.

The Deli Society's empanadas

Community-based food and drink platform the Deli Society is expanding into the foodservice sector with a range of frozen empanadas. Inspired by Argentinian recipes and handmade in Spain, the empanadas come in 10 flavours, including traditional beef, pork pibil, and mushroom and Camembert.

BakeAway's American-style buttermilk pancakes

BakeAway has launched American-style buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes can be cooked in 60 seconds from frozen in a microwave and can be topped with sweet or savoury ingredients.

Donut Worry Be Happy's new doughnuts

Donut Worry Be Happy has launched three new doughnuts. Passionista is filled with passion fruit purée and topped with an orange glaze and dark chocolate sprinkles, Crushed Candy White is decorated with crushed pieces of chocolate candy, and Raspberry Bliss is filled with raspberry jam and topped with chocolate and freeze-dried raspberries.

New drinks for November 2023

Shivering Mountain craft gin

Craft gin Shivering Mountain is distilled in the Peak District and made using local fruits and flowers. Three new gins have been launched in the Shivering Mountain collection: premium dry, a lighter, floral London dry gin; an aromatic premium pink gin with a citrus finish; and early harvest gin with slight peppery notes.

Kingfisher Zero

KBE Drinks has launched Kingfisher Zero, an alcohol-free variant of its biggest brand, Kingfisher. It will be available to the on-trade this autumn in 330ml bottles.

Never Say Die American rye whiskey

Never Say Die has launched an American rye whiskey with flavours of spices and top notes of citrus and green herbs. Following the same trans-Atlantic ageing process as the brand's bourbons, the rye is transported in its original casks from Kentucky in the US to the UK for a second maturation at White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire.

Rhum Barbancourt

Rhum Barbancourt, produced from sugar cane juice and bottled in Haiti, is launching for the first time in the UK. The rum distillery is one of Haiti's oldest institutions and has been a family business since it was founded by Dupre Barbancourt in 1862. Products include a 15-year-old rum and a white rum.

Sirman countertop wok induction hob

FEM has introduced the Sirman countertop wok induction hob, the IH 35 WOK. The space-saving hob, measuring 340mm x 445mm, offers a quick way to cook to order and works for front of house and outside and event catering. Graduated digital controls give the user control over the heat and several hobs can be lined up to create a modular cooking suite.

Merrychef's high-speed oven

Following in the footsteps of conneX 12 and 16, Merrychef announces the launch of the new conneX 12e. This high-speed oven is a good first step for an operator looking to start up a hot food menu or expand and offer a greater variety of food. Its 7in HD touchscreen is intuitive so staff can be trained easily and quickly. Its quiet operation makes it suitable for front of house locations.

Nelson's under-counter warewashers

Nelson is launching Speedwash Plus, a new range of energy efficient under-counter warewashers. Energy and water saving features include a shallow wash tank with a capacity of 8 litres for the smaller machines and 13 litres for the larger, with just three litres of rinse water per cycle. The machines are self-cleaning, minimising the need for staff time, and integral water softeners can be included on request.

Panasonic's rice cooker

The SR-UH36F electronic rice cooker is the latest model in Panasonic's range. Featuring 1400w power and a 3.6 litre cooking capacity, the design incorporates wrap-around heaters to offer improved heat retention, holding rice at the correct temperature for up to 12 hours.
