Pentahotels appoints Serhan Ilker as GM of Pentahotel Ipswich
Pentahotels, the German hotel brand owned by the Rosewood Hotel Group, has announced the appointment of Serhan Ilker as general manager of the 126-bedroom Pentahotel Ipswich following its £2m refurbishment and reopening last year.
Ilker joins the hotel from the same role at Novotel Ipswich Centre. He formerly held general manager positions at Ibis hotels in Istanbul in Turkey, and in Cork and Dublin in Ireland.
He replaces Christopher Ross, who joined the hotel in September 2015.
Vice president operations Andrew Munt said: "Serhan is a highly experienced manager who likes to challenge the status quo and support innovation in hospitality; his track record fits right into our brand philosophy."
