Pidgin team to open fast-casual sandwich bar

The team behind east London restaurants Pidgin and Magpie are set to launch a fast-casual sandwich bar in King's Cross.

James Ramsden and Sam Herlihy will open Sons + Daughters this summer.

Details are scarce but Herlihy has revealed: "All of our sandwiches are made in house using the freshest and best ingredients around."

Teaser images suggest soft serve ice-cream, beers and cocktails will also be on offer.

Ramsden and Herlihy opened former Michelin-starred Pidgin in 2015 offering a four-course menu that changes weekly. Two years later the pair opened Magpie off Regent Street, but closed the site earlier this year.
