London event caterer Seasoned secures supplier status at Kew Gardens
London event caterer Seasoned has been approved as a supplier to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, following a formal tender process.
The terms of the tender were not disclosed.
Seasoned has committed to providing sustainably sourced produce, as well as working with clients to calculate emissions from their events. It aims to reduce carbon footprint and offset emission through the Woodland Trust.
A variety of corporate and private events, including civil ceremonies and weddings, are held at Kew Gardens.
Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring Grade I- and Grade II-listed venues, such as Cambridge Cottage, the Orangery and Princess of Wales Conservatory.
Colin Sayers, managing partner of Seasoned, said: "Kew Gardens is something special and we are so thrilled to be beginning this brand-new relationship with Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. This is our first ever approved supplier listing at the gardens and demonstrates our ability to hand-pick the most exciting opportunities along with our desire to partner with an exclusive collection of amazing venues."
Trent Craig, senior event operations manager at Kew Gardens, added: "We are excited to welcome Seasoned to our listed catering collective at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and look forward to working together with our clients to cater for many stunning weddings and events in the coming years.
"The commitment demonstrated by Seasoned to producing environmentally conscious events focused on educating clients in how to reduce the environmental impact of event proceeding aligns with our mission and values at Kew Gardens."
It comes after Seasoned secured a catering contract with Brighton's Royal Pavilion and Museums Trust last July.
