Bovingdons secures catering contract with Leighton House

Bovingdons Catering has secured a contract worth in excess of £2m with Leighton House in London's Holland Park.

The 30-year-old catering provider will run the museum's new De Morgan Café, as well as offering food and beverages at the site's private events.

Leighton House is the former studio and home of the Victorian artist Frederic, Lord Leighton. It is the latest addition to Bovingdons' portfolio of catering contracts at cultural venues, such as Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Museum of London Docklands.

Daniel Robbins, senior curator at Leighton House, said: "We are thrilled to have Bovingdons on board to support the delivery of catering in the museum's new café and exclusively for private events hosted across the historic rooms and our new spaces.

"Bovingdons were chosen for their experience of working with historical venues, their incredibly high standard of service and expert team as well as their sustainable credentials".

Jay Burgesson-Carter, director at Bovingdons, added: "We are delighted to be working with Leighton House. The unique space has recently undergone a major restoration project breathing 21st century life into Leighton's historic house. It's an honour to be working within the walls of such an important part of art history".

In May 2022, Bovingdons announced its seven-figure catering partnership with London's Postal Museum.
