Five Gino D'Acampo restaurants to be rebranded

Five Gino D'Acampo-branded sites run by Individual Restaurants are to be rebranded at the end of the month.

Gino D'Acampo My Restaurant sites in Liverpool, Manchester's Corn Exchange, Birmingham (pictured) and Leeds' Park Row will reopen under Individual Restaurants' new Riva Blu brand, while the restaurant in Harrogate will become a Piccolino.

Retail sites in partnership with Next and restaurants in Manchester's Arndale, Hull and Leeds' the Springs will remain Gino My Restaurants.

Karen Forrester, chief executive of Individual Restaurant Company, said: "We are extremely excited to introduce Riva Blu restaurants. Riva Blu continues to deliver authentic Italian food and experience with all our existing teams at the helm and we look forward to welcoming both existing and new guests."

He also operates restaurants at several Melia hotels, including in Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester.

Individual Restaurants is owned by Ice Acquisitions, controlled by Sir Malcolm Walker, the founder of supermarket chain Iceland, and Tarsem Dhaliwal, Iceland's group managing director.
