Second Hotel Gotham to open in Glasgow

Bespoke Hotels is set to open a second Hotel Gotham in Glasgow in spring 2021, six years after the original launched in Manchester.

Hotel Gotham Glasgow will join hotel brands including Kimpton, Malmaison and Dakota already operating on the square and surrounding area.

Robin Sheppard, chairman of Bespoke Hotels, said: "We are thrilled to have secured this fantastic site in the heart of Glasgow city-centre. We believe Gotham is a perfect fit for both Glasgow and Blythswood Square, not solely in terms of the architectural grandeur and convenience of its location, but the abundant character and feistiness of the city."

Simon Marshall, group managing director at Marshall CDP, added: "The site at Blythswood Square is architecturally stunning and very much in keeping with the sense of grandeur that the Hotel Gotham brand evokes. We have been keen to build on the success of Gotham in Manchester, and eager to further cement our relationship with Bespoke Hotels."
