London Hospitality Festival organisers to make world record football match attempt

The organisers of the London Hospitality Festival are to hold an event which aims to break the Guinness World Record for the most people to play in a seven-a-side football match.

Taking place on 6 January at Kings House Sports Grounds, Chiswick, they are aiming for the match to feature 1,000 people playing in one continuous game.

To achieve the record each player must appear for at least 10 minutes for Hospitality United, with roll-on roll-off substitutes ensuring it is one uninterrupted contest.

Tickets to participate are available for £10 and all proceeds will go to the Springboard charity.

Launched in 2009, the London Hospitality Festival brings together over 3,000 hospitality workers from across the UK to enjoy a free music festival alongside the industry's largest football and softball tournaments featuring over 100 hotels and restaurants.
