Poke House planning to open 65 UK restaurants

Poke House, the restaurant group which claims to be Europe's biggest poke bowl chain, is planning to open 65 sites across the UK over the next year.

The brand was founded in Milan in 2018 and runs around 55 restaurants across countries including Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.

It is planning to launch 15 venues in London as part of its wider UK expansion.

Poke House acquired London's Ahi Poké restaurant group earlier this year and opened its first site in Notting Hill in September.

Four former Ahi Poké restaurants in London's Spitalfields, Victoria, Canary Wharf and Bloomberg Arcade reopened under the Poke House branding today (22 November), and the final Ahi Poké site in Fitzrovia is due to be relaunched in due course.

Poke House's menu offers customisable bowls including fish, chicken, grains or vegetables and house specials including its top seller ‘Sunny Salmon', made with sushi white rice, salmon, fresh avocado, edamame, red cabbage, special dressing, avocado cream, and sesame seeds.

In April the group completed a €20m (£17m) funding round led by Eulero Capital, with the support of FG2 Capital and Milano Investment Partners, with the aim of opening 200 further sites across Europe.

Earlier this year Poke House said it was planning to open in a range of formats across the UK, including in shopping malls, outdoor kiosks and as delivery-only dark kitchens.
