A two-year-old girl has been hospitalised in a serious condition after falling from a second storey window of a Blackpool hotel this morning.

Lancashire Police have said they were called to the Manor Royd hotel in Albert Road by ambulance crews shortly before 9am.

The girl was taken by air ambulance to Alder Hey Hospital with a number of fractures and is in a serious condition.
