Ynyshir lands on Uber Eats for limited time

Gareth Ward, chef owner of Ynyshir in Wales, has partnered with Uber Eats to deliver his tasting menu to guests in London.

The partnership with the winner of the 2023 Chef Award Catey is set to launch on 6 December and run to 8 December.

The two Michelin-starred Ynyshir will be taking on a residency in London to deliver its 10-course tasting menu for two, priced at £200. An additional £50 wine pairing experience will be available.

Example dishes include duck leg rillette sando, duck liver and miso cured egg yolk; BBQ lobster claw and tail, satay; BBQ black cod, N25 caviar; and chicken katsu, carrot slaw and sushi rice.

The collaboration marks the launch of Uber Eats Hosts, a limited time initiative offering dishes from "world renowned restaurants" to users of the food delivery app.

Gareth Ward, head chef and co-owner of Ynyshir, said: "This is a mega exciting project, it's quite different to what we usually do and something unique for us to pull off. We have created a flavour driven menu using the best ingredients, a load of filthy good food that you cannot get anywhere else."

Matthew Price, general manager UK, Ireland and Northern Europe at Uber Eats, added:"We hope that our customers enjoy this unique chance to sample an extraordinary restaurant from the comfort of their own home!"
