Former Grange & Links hotel on Lincolnshire coast on the market for £1.5m

The former Grange & Links hotel in Sandilands on the Lincolnshire coast has been put on the market with a guide price of £1.5m.

Colliers International has confirmed it is acting as the agent for current owner Tim Cross and that the listing includes planning permissions for two extensive mixed-use schemes.

The hotel, which had been in business for more than 100 years, closed in September 2018 after its owners reported it had become run down and expensive to run.

The property is situated 300metres from the beach in the village of Sandilands on the Lincolnshire coastline and within the Gateway to the Lincolnshire Coastal Development Plan, a future National Trust nature reserve and part of the Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park.

Paul Barrasford of Hotels Agency at Colliers International said the stretch of coastline was stunning and a popular and long-established tourist destination. He added: "The value of Lincolnshire's visitor economy is considered around £2.24b, with the county attracting an estimated 22 million visitors per annum."

Tim Cross, the current owner of the site, said: "Sandilands is a beautiful place to live, visit and holiday with its fantastic beach and colourful beach huts – it represents the epitome of a true English seaside resort."
